A large part of my career was spent on Bud Light, which eventually lead to my first job as a creative director for the account. Oddly enough the brand has followed me to just about every job I've had since. I did a lot of work, some of which appeared on several Super Bowls, and was fortunate to win a few handful of awards along the way. Here's a few pieces of what was some of the most fun I've had in advertising from present to past.
Bud Light's "Real Men of Genius" spanned 10 years and became one of advertising's most awarded radio campaigns in history, which included back-to-back Cannes Grand Prix wins. Not to mention it was probably the most fun I've ever had writing. Here's a few of my favorites.
Below, "Mr. Taco Salad Inventor" brought "Real Men of Genius" to life in the U.K.
Before they were "Real Men of Genius" they were "Real American Heroes." After Sept. 11, 2001 Anheuser Busch chose to change the title.
